Run by creative and experienced club leaders who will put together a fun programme of activities such as football, giant board games, mini-olympics, volleyball, table tennis, beachcombing, games in the pool, windsurf board games and sand sculpture competitions. Due to additional safety considerations, watersports for the MACs will be limited although we will endeavour to provide basic short experiences on the water during the week.
JACs Club (junior active club) -8 to 12 years
Run by experienced club leaders who will supervise the JACs and lay on a full programme of on and off water activities to keep even the most energetic JAC fully occupied!
In addition to the activities described for MACs, the children in JACs can participate in taster sessions in sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. If a JAC is judged to be a competent sailor by our RYA instructors and is a good swimmer, then our club leaders may be able to help organise for them to participate in a clinic on the main programme of activities.
MACS and JACS operate morning sessions 0930-1230 and afternoon sessions 1430-1730. Session times will be allocated in resort and could be a combination of mornings and afternoons. Pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited. Further half day sessions available locally. Certain activities for MACS and JACS might be combined, particularly during quiet periods.
